1. Scope
This Notice explains cookies and browser storage used for Frameleaf Cloud account services and the treatment of similar technologies in Frameleaf applications. Frameleaf, Inc. is the provider identified in the Privacy Notice. An independently operated Frameleaf Library and third-party websites can have different administrators and settings.
2. Sign-in, security and preferences
| Technology | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
| Frameleaf Cloud authentication cookies | Maintain the signed-in session and necessary authentication state across the configured Cloud account and identity domains. Ordinary account sessions have a 14-day lifetime and can refresh with continued use. Signing out or revoking a session ends its authorization. Security checks can end it sooner. |
| Temporary authentication state | Supports requested sign-in, account verification, passkey and security operations. Individual codes and challenges have their own shorter expiry; they are not a persistent marketing profile. |
| Browser theme preference | The account site stores the selected theme under frameleaf.theme in local storage. It remains until changed, cleared by you or removed by the browser. It does not contain your Library media. |
Production session cookies use secure transport and are protected against ordinary JavaScript access. These safeguards do not eliminate every browser, device or account risk. Blocking necessary authentication storage can prevent sign-in or security-sensitive operations.
3. Payments and address search
Direct billing uses Stripe payment interfaces. When you use a payment function, Stripe receives payment and technical information needed for payment processing, security and fraud prevention and may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its privacy information. Frameleaf receives the payment references and limited payment-method information described in the Privacy Notice.
Billing address search uses Google Maps Platform when you choose and type into that search. The search text, selected address details and ordinary connection information can be processed by Google. You can enter an address manually without using that search. A request for an address suggestion does not authorize unrelated advertising use by Frameleaf.
App Store and Google Play purchases also involve the relevant marketplace’s own technologies and terms. A marketplace’s device or transaction record is distinct from a Frameleaf website cookie.
4. Optional technologies
Acceptance of the Master Terms or continued browsing is not consent to optional advertising, analytics or unrelated diagnostic collection. Any optional technology introduced for an affected service must be disclosed with its provider, purpose, data and retention information and offered with the choices required by law before activation. Consent withdrawal must be as accessible as giving consent.
Frameleaf does not authorize transmission of private media, biometric templates, private prompts or encryption keys to advertising systems through this Notice. Ordinary service logging and security records are governed by the Privacy Notice and Security Schedule; they are not automatically erased when a browser cookie is deleted.
Application permissions and any separately disclosed diagnostic options are controlled through the application and operating system. This Notice does not represent that a browser cookie control manages every mobile SDK or third-party service. Required browser or device opt-out signals will be honored for the processing to which they apply.
5. Your controls
You can sign out, revoke available sessions, clear browser cookies and local storage, change the display theme, use manual address entry, and adjust device permissions. Clearing browser storage may sign you out and remove preferences. It does not cancel subscriptions, request account deletion, remove Cloud backups or recall content already delivered to another system.
