Titles
Section titled “Titles”Add text on the title track and choose its style, position, length and how it animates in and out. Text can animate by character, word or line, with effects such as typewriter, fade, rise, pop and slide, and gentle loops such as pulse and shimmer.
Studio includes more than 100 font families. Fonts loaded from the internet aren’t allowed in a project, so a project always looks the same on any server.
Ken Burns on photos
Section titled “Ken Burns on photos”Give a still photo slow movement by setting a start frame and an end frame. Studio moves smoothly from one to the other while the photo is on screen.
Change a clip’s speed to any rate; later clips move along to make room. You can also play a clip backwards: Studio prepares a reversed copy as a job in Activity.
If you change the project’s frame rate later, choose whether clips keep their timing or their frames.
Smooth motion
Section titled “Smooth motion”Smooth motion adds in-between frames, for smooth slow motion or a higher frame rate. It always runs as its own job, so you see what it will do first:
- On your own hardware, it needs a restoration worker with the RIFE model on your network.
- On Cloud GPU, it runs at 2× or 4× up to 120 fps and 4K, after you confirm an estimate. Scene cuts are detected, so two shots are never blended together.
You can run it on a single video from the Restore panel, or after an export with Smooth motion after export. The result is saved as a new version; the original never changes.
