Audio and music

Studio keeps your camera sound, music and voice on separate tracks so you can balance them.

For each clip you can set:

  • Volume, in decibels, or mute the clip
  • Fade in and fade out
  • Pitch, in semitones and cents
  • EQ
  • Each track has a fader, pan and its own EQ, and can be muted or soloed.
  • The master controls the whole mix’s level and mute, separately from your computer’s volume.
  • Ducking lowers the music while a voice-over plays.

Meters show the level as you play. Fades, pitch, EQ and volume sound the same in the preview as in the export.

Add a music file from your library as a music bed on the music track.

Frameleaf doesn’t include a music library. Use music you have the rights to.

Record a voice-over with your microphone, or generate one from text, and it’s placed on the voice track.

The editor can find silences and filler words such as “um” and offer to remove them. You review every suggestion before anything changes.

An export keeps the widest channel layout of your sources, such as 5.1 or 7.1, at its sample rate. Studio only mixes down to stereo when you choose it. See Exporting.
